This includes all applications developed and published by AVDC Ltd, such as ChessMem and ScrollAway.

- Account information — Email address for account identification, and name (if provided via third-party sign-in such as Google)
- Usage data — Progress data, practice statistics, preferences, and feature usage within our applications. Some of our applications (such as ScrollAway) use Apple's Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, ManagedSettings) to monitor and manage app usage entirely on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.
- Subscription information — Subscription status and plan type (payment details are handled by third-party processors)
- Analytics — Anonymised usage analytics to help us improve the Services
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the Services
- Track your progress and learning within our applications
- Process subscriptions and manage your account
- Improve and develop our applications
We do not sell your data, send unsolicited marketing, or share your information with advertisers.

- Supabase — PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest
- Stripe — Payment processing for web purchases (PCI DSS compliant)
- Apple App Store — In-app purchase processing for iOS applications
- Google — Authentication only
- Netlify — Application hosting
All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Data at rest is encrypted where supported by the storage provider.
4. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with third-party providers for authentication, payments, data storage, and hosting. Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Our applications may use authentication tokens and locally cached data (such as practice progress or app usage preferences) stored in your browser or device. Some applications store settings and usage data on-device only using standard system storage (such as UserDefaults on iOS). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

- Deleted accounts — Data is removed within 30 days of account deletion

Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside of your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
